Frequently Asked questions.
1) How long does it take to get an appraisal?
Normally we can arrange an inspection of your vehicle within 2-3 days. Depends on your location and our schedule. Following the inspection it will take an average of 3-5 days to complete, review and email you the completed final Appraisal Report.
2) Do I need to bring the vehicle to your location?
No, we come to your location and inspect the vehicle. In some instances we can arrange an inspection at another site if this is needed.
3) What does an appraisal of my vehicle cost?
The answer is it varies. The factors that impact the cost are, location of the inspection, what type of vehicle we are appraising. Also the expected difficulties of some specialty vehicles in researching and determining their Fair Market Value. Call us and we can discuss your needs and determine your cost.
4) Are you a licensed appraiser.
There is no licensing system in California for automobile appraisers. We were certified by a well known senior appraiser following a lengthy internship. With 20 years of appraisal experience,we are more than qualified for your appraisal needs. We have never had an appraisal "thrown out" by any government agency, insurance claim action, or financial institution as being invalid. If this were to happen, we will either correct the report to the satisfaction of the parties or refund your appraisal cost.
